Senior AI Dev Platform Engineer
As a Senior AI Dev Platform Engineer at EarnIn, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and operating AI-assisted capabilities within the company's platform infrastructure and developer tooling. This role involves integrating AI into systems that power software delivery, including MCP servers, LLM Gateways, and agentic workflows, to enhance developer efficiency and platform reliability. EarnIn is a pioneer in earned wage access, committed to providing real-time financial flexibility to its community members.
Your primary responsibilities will include developing MCP servers that expose platform capabilities as safe, well-scoped tools for AI agents and developer-facing assistants. You will design structured, agentic workflows for platform operations such as incident triage, deployment validation, and capacity planning. Additionally, you will operationalize LLM-based features within platform tooling, implement LLM gateway and router patterns, and evolve GitOps-based continuous delivery and Kubernetes infrastructure on AWS EKS.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with over four years of experience in platform, infrastructure, or backend engineering. Proficiency in Python and/or Go, along with hands-on experience operating production systems in a cloud environment (preferably AWS), is essential. Strong expertise in Kubernetes, GitOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Helm, and Kustomize is required. Experience with observability tools and building or integrating MCP servers is also highly valued.
This hybrid position is based in Bengaluru, India, requiring two days of on-site work per week.
