Senior Product Security Engineer

Gong is seeking a Senior Product Security Engineer to join our team in Tel Aviv. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering teams to embed security into our AI-powered platform, ensuring the protection of customer data and maintaining trust. This position offers the opportunity to influence the security architecture of a product that processes and analyzes customer conversations at scale.

As a Senior Product Security Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include identifying and addressing vulnerabilities across services, APIs, and data paths in production systems. You will provide practical guidance on authentication, authorization, data protection, and service-to-service communication. Additionally, you will strengthen identity and access management across Kubernetes, containers, and cloud infrastructure, and integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines to enhance developer adoption.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in Product Security or Application Security roles, with a proven track record of working closely with engineering teams on production systems. A strong understanding of secure design and threat modeling is essential, along with hands-on experience securing web applications, APIs, and distributed systems. Proficiency with cloud environments, including identity and access management, and familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures are also required.
