Senior Physical Security Manager
Topstep, a Chicago-based financial technology company specializing in trader education and fintech solutions, is seeking a Senior Physical Security Manager to lead and enhance their physical security initiatives across multiple office locations. This role is pivotal in establishing a comprehensive, scalable, and technology-driven security program that aligns with Topstep's commitment to safety and operational excellence.
The Senior Physical Security Manager will be responsible for implementing a unified, cloud-based Access Control and Visitor Management System across all five office locations. Key duties include conducting thorough Physical Security Risk Assessments, developing and maintaining Emergency Action Plans, leading emergency preparedness exercises, and establishing protocols for asset protection and disposal. Additionally, the role involves fostering a security-conscious culture through awareness programs and managing executive protection and threat assessments.
Candidates should possess over eight years of progressive experience in corporate security management, with a proven track record of building and scaling physical security programs in high-growth technology or financial services environments. Expertise in selecting and implementing enterprise-grade, cloud-native Access Control and Video Management Systems is essential. Experience with physical security audits for standards such as SOC2 Type II, PCI-DSS, or ISO 27001, as well as proficiency in threat assessment methodologies and emergency response simulations, are also required.
The compensation package includes a base salary ranging from $160,000 to $180,000, with additional benefits such as seven company-paid holidays, generous family leave, competitive 401(k) matching, and health, dental, and vision insurance for full-time employees.
