Senior Network Engineer
Wilson Elser, a leading defense litigation law firm with over 1,400 attorneys across 46 U.S. offices, is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to oversee and advance their enterprise network infrastructure. This role involves collaborating with a senior-level team to design and implement scalable, resilient network solutions in multi-site and cloud environments.
The Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for architecting network solutions, including routing/switching, SD-WAN, firewalls, VPN, QoS, and zero-trust segmentation. They will lead infrastructure changes from design through implementation, develop business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and perform proactive maintenance such as patching, upgrades, and health monitoring. Additionally, the role involves managing vulnerability findings, maintaining accurate network documentation, and resolving network-related incidents and service requests.
Candidates should have over 10 years of hands-on network engineering experience in multi-site enterprise environments, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proficiency in Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ACI, enterprise routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and switching (VLANs, port channels, spanning tree, QoS) is essential. Strong documentation skills, the ability to translate business requirements into technical designs, and excellent communication skills are also required.
