Senior Mobility Specialist - Immigration Lawyer

Remote is seeking a Senior Mobility Specialist to join its Onboarding and Mobility team. This role focuses on facilitating seamless cross-border transitions for employees, ensuring compliance with local laws, and providing comprehensive immigration and relocation support. The position offers the opportunity to significantly impact the global employment landscape by enhancing Remote's global mobility programs.

Key responsibilities include monitoring assigned cases through effective use of case management systems, providing guidance on travel needs and immigration processes, and serving as a point of contact for business travel and sponsorship cases. The specialist will also offer legal and strategic advice on immigration compliance, manage senior-level escalations, and assist leadership in large projects. Additionally, the role involves analyzing and submitting visa/work permit applications, mentoring Mobility Specialists and Coordinators, and maintaining compliance with immigration laws.

Candidates should have extensive experience in immigration compliance, global mobility, or similar roles, with a deep understanding of immigration processes. The ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is essential. Previous experience in the tech industry or a hyper-growth and scaling environment is ideal. Fluency in English is required, and additional languages are a plus. Experience working remotely is also advantageous.
