Senior Mobility Specialist - Immigration Lawyer

The Senior Mobility Specialist - Immigration Lawyer will join Remote's Mobility team, which is dedicated to facilitating seamless global employment transitions. This role focuses on ensuring compliance with local immigration laws and providing comprehensive relocation support, enabling Remote and its clients to attract and retain top international talent.

Key responsibilities include monitoring and managing immigration cases, offering guidance on travel and sponsorship needs, and providing strategic legal advice on immigration compliance. The specialist will handle senior-level escalations, assist in large project management, and ensure adherence to service level agreements. Additionally, the role involves developing in-house immigration services, preparing and submitting visa applications, mentoring team members, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of immigration laws.

Candidates must be licensed immigration lawyers in Germany with extensive experience in immigration compliance or global mobility. A deep understanding of immigration processes, the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, and fluency in English are essential. Experience in the tech industry or a scaling environment, as well as prior remote work experience, are advantageous.
