Senior Mobile Engineer
As a Senior Mobile Engineer at Topstep, you will play a pivotal role in developing our mobile trading platform using React Native. This position offers the opportunity to build the application from the ground up, establish mobile architecture patterns, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver an exceptional user experience for traders.
Your primary responsibilities will include leading the development of the mobile MVP, integrating with GraphQL APIs, and ensuring seamless performance across both iOS and Android platforms. You will establish reusable components, custom hooks, and testing strategies, while also partnering with product and design teams to translate trader needs into intuitive mobile experiences. Additionally, you will drive mobile quality through testing, monitoring, and performance optimization, and mentor engineers on React Native best practices.
The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of professional experience in building production mobile applications, with deep expertise in React Native, including navigation, state management, and performance optimization. Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript, experience with GraphQL client integration, and a solid understanding of mobile-specific performance optimization are essential. Familiarity with mobile CI/CD processes and a track record of technical leadership are also highly valued.
