The Senior Manager, Strategic Deals, Aerospace & Defense at Xometry will play a pivotal role in expanding the company's presence within the aerospace and defense sector. This position focuses on developing, structuring, and executing high-impact opportunities with leading customers, driving revenue growth, and strengthening manufacturing and supply capabilities to meet stringent quality, certification, and compliance standards. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Supply, Operations, Pricing, and Quality, to position Xometry as a trusted manufacturing partner within the broader aerospace and defense ecosystem.

Key responsibilities include leading complex pursuits within priority aerospace and defense accounts to expand revenue and program share, developing deal strategies aligned with aerospace procurement cycles and supplier qualification processes, and partnering closely with Sales and account teams to shape competitive proposals and program-based engagements. The role also involves coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver technically complex, compliance-driven opportunities, defining pricing, quoting, and supply strategies tailored to regulated, precision manufacturing environments, and ensuring strong execution from sourcing through delivery with a focus on repeatable program success.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10+ years of progressive experience within aerospace and defense manufacturing environments, including roles in production, supply chain, procurement, program management, or commercial leadership. A proven track record operating within aerospace OEMs, defense primes, or Tier 1/Tier 2 suppliers is essential. The candidate should demonstrate experience in driving revenue growth, securing program awards, negotiating supply agreements, or managing strategic procurement relationships within the aerospace and defense sector. A strong understanding of advanced manufacturing principles, including the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), is required. Significant hands-on experience in CNC machining environments is necessary, with exposure to composites, plastics, harnesses, and sheet metal fabrication being strongly preferred. Familiarity with ISO 9001, AS9100D, ITAR, NIST, and other critical compliance and certification frameworks required in aerospace and defense manufacturing is also essential. A bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced degree preferred. The role requires a willingness to travel 20–50% to support customer, supplier, and program engagements.

The estimated base salary range for new hires into this role is $160,000 - $176,000 annually, plus an annual bonus, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location. Xometry also offers a competitive benefits package, including a 401(k) match, medical, dental, and vision insurance; life and disability insurance; generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, floating and fixed holidays, maternity and bonding leave; Employee Assistance Program (EAP), other wellbeing resources; and much more.
