This position is responsible for defining and scaling Xometry's supplier network, encompassing processes from acquisition and onboarding to activation and retention. The role involves setting the vision, building strategies, and overseeing initiatives that strengthen the supply base, while managing a small team and collaborating with cross-functional partners to achieve measurable business outcomes.
Key responsibilities include defining the vision and roadmap for Xometry’s supplier network, which involves segmentation, tiering, and establishing performance standards. The role also entails designing and launching incentive programs and engagement models aimed at improving partner quality, retention, and growth. Collaboration with Partner Success, Product, Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams is essential to ensure effective implementation and communication of these programs. Additionally, the Senior Manager will manage and develop a team focused on supplier acquisition, onboarding, and activation, while tracking key performance indicators and analyzing supplier behavior to optimize programs and continuously improve outcomes.
The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker capable of translating marketplace goals into supplier programs. They should have a proven track record of managing and developing talent, with at least 8 years of experience in supply, partner, channel strategy, program design, or marketplace operations. Strong skills in data analysis and financial modeling are essential, along with proficiency in tools such as Excel, SQL, and business intelligence platforms. Excellent communication skills are required to influence executives and simplify complex ideas, and a builder/doer mindset is necessary to launch pilots, iterate quickly, and scale proven models.
The estimated base salary range for this role is $150,000 to $196,000 annually, plus an annual bonus, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
