Senior Manager, Data Engineering & Architecture
As the Senior Manager of Data Engineering and Architecture at LVT, you will lead the development and execution of the company's data engineering strategy and architecture. This role involves managing a team of three data engineers and directly contributing to the creation of a modern data warehouse using Snowflake, dbt, and SQL. Your primary responsibilities will encompass defining the long-term vision and architecture for LVT's data platform, designing a hybrid architecture that supports the company's rapid growth. You will oversee the design and optimization of the Snowflake data warehouse to ensure performance, scalability, and usability. Additionally, you will lead the development and maintenance of robust data models and pipelines that ingest data from various internal and external sources, supporting reporting, dashboarding, and analysis across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have over eight years of experience in data engineering or related roles, with a strong focus on data modeling and pipeline development. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field is required. Technical skills should include advanced proficiency in SQL, experience with dbt for building modular data transformations, and hands-on experience with Snowflake. Proven experience leading complex data migration or implementation projects is also essential.
