The Senior Legal Counsel will provide legal support to Continental's entities in Hungary and the Eastern Europe & Middle East region, focusing on strategic legal initiatives. This role involves delivering efficient, reliable, and innovative legal solutions that enable management and employees to achieve corporate goals while minimizing risks and maximizing opportunities. The position serves as a key liaison between internal stakeholders and external law firms within the region.

Key responsibilities include offering legal advice on national and international matters, identifying and analyzing legal risks, and developing solutions for risk avoidance or limitation. The role also entails drafting and reviewing various contracts and legal documents, supporting negotiations of high-complexity agreements, and maintaining contract templates. Additionally, the Senior Legal Counsel will conduct workshops and training sessions for internal clients, coach junior legal colleagues, and assist in claim management both in and out of court.

The ideal candidate holds a university degree from a law school with full professional proficiency in Hungarian law. A minimum of five years of legal experience is required, preferably with exposure to multinational companies or international studies. Essential skills include strong knowledge of commercial, civil, corporate, and labor law, proficiency in drafting and reviewing contracts, and fluency in both Hungarian and English. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work independently, manage multiple complex tasks simultaneously, and possess strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
