Senior Lawyer, Debt Finance, Luxembourg
Clifford Chance is seeking a Senior Lawyer to join its Debt Finance team in Luxembourg. This role involves advising on a comprehensive range of debt finance matters, including leveraged finance, asset finance, real estate and infrastructure finance, fund finance, corporate lending, syndicated facilities, and private credit. The successful candidate will collaborate with a diverse client base, including banks, financial institutions, corporates, sponsors, funds, and direct lenders, providing clear and pragmatic advice on both domestic and cross-border transactions.
Key responsibilities include structuring and executing complex financing arrangements, acting for both lenders and borrowers in acquisition financings, refinancings, liability management, and other sophisticated finance matters. The role also encompasses advising on lending, leveraged and acquisition finance, restructuring and insolvency, real estate and asset finance, and fund finance.
Candidates should possess 3 to 6 years of experience in Banking, Finance, and Capital Markets, ideally gained within a large international law firm. A law degree is required, with a specialized Master's degree (LL.M) considered an asset. Admission to the Luxembourg bar is essential. Fluency in English is mandatory, with proficiency in French required; additional language skills, particularly German or Luxembourgish, are advantageous.
