This role offers the opportunity to work on market-leading, complex transactions as part of a globally integrated team within one of the world's largest international law firms. The GFM practice is ranked Band 1 globally, specializing in complex cross-border financings and 'first-of-a-kind' mandates across various sectors, including infrastructure, energy, and private capital.
The successful candidate will advise on a wide range of financing transactions, including cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the development of junior lawyers and participating in knowledge sharing across the practice.
Candidates should have 2–4 years of post-qualification experience (UK equivalent) and be qualified in a Commonwealth jurisdiction. Experience in one or more of the following areas is essential: general banking, infrastructure/project finance, leveraged finance, restructuring, asset finance, or structured finance. Strong technical and transactional skills, excellent academic credentials, and the ability to work collaboratively across jurisdictions and cultures are required. A proactive approach to business development and client relationship management, along with a commitment to continuous learning and mentoring, is also expected.
Clifford Chance offers a highly competitive base salary, with potential for a significant bonus under the firm's bonus scheme. Additional benefits include extensive client contact, opportunities for client training and seminars, and a comprehensive training program in a broad range of client-focused skills. The firm provides a dynamic and inclusive work environment, emphasizing teamwork and professional growth. Employees have the opportunity to work on exciting and complex matters that frequently headline financial and business news, develop a multi-disciplinary skill set, and engage with some of the best-known market leaders in their respective practice areas.
