Senior Inventory Data Analyst

The Senior Inventory Data Analyst at ALO plays a pivotal role in enhancing planning and inventory management processes. This position requires a solid understanding of retail operations and mathematics, along with experience in merchandise planning or allocation. The analyst will collaborate with various teams to automate existing reports and identify opportunities for process improvements.

Key responsibilities include partnering with Planning & Allocation, Buying, Finance, and Data Engineering teams to align analytics with business priorities. The analyst will build and maintain dashboards, automate reporting, and develop analytics solutions to democratize data across the organization. Additionally, they will translate complex datasets into actionable insights to drive growth, improve forecast accuracy, and enhance operational efficiency.

Candidates should possess 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, preferably within high-growth e-commerce or digitally enabled retail environments. A bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering is required. Proficiency in SQL, Python or R, and experience with BI tools like Tableau or ThoughtSpot are essential. Strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills are also necessary to thrive in this fast-paced environment.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000 to $115,000 per year. Additional rewards may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, a PTO policy, and other progressive benefits.
