Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance Analyst
Pure Storage is seeking a Senior Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Analyst to join their Global Information Security Office in Lehi, Utah. This role is pivotal in transforming complex security and compliance requirements into streamlined processes that protect customers and support global growth. The position serves as a strategic link between technical teams and business functions, including Legal, Privacy, and Product, ensuring that risks are visible and decisions are data-driven.
In this role, the Senior GRC Analyst will be responsible for developing and maintaining GRC dashboards to provide leadership with actionable insights. They will collaborate with the Director of GRC to lead strategic projects, drive process automation, and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance GRC function efficiency. The analyst will manage the evolution of the Common Controls Framework (SOC 2, ISO, NIST), ensuring compliance with regional and regulatory obligations while maintaining customer trust. Additionally, they will oversee the security awareness program, track training completion, and manage the security exception lifecycle within Jira. The role also involves developing and managing GRC repositories to centralize program documentation.
Candidates should have a deep understanding of mapping business processes to frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, or NIST, with the ability to translate technical security gaps into clear business impacts. Technical proficiency in building and managing GRC metrics, dashboards, and risk registers using tools like Jira or GRC platforms is essential. Exceptional communication skills are required to align diverse stakeholders across the organization on compliance goals and risk mitigation strategies. Experience in third-party risk management and supply chain security within a shared-responsibility model is also important.
The annual base salary range for this position is $131,000 to $197,000 USD.
