AI Governance Analyst
The AI Governance Analyst at Everpure's Global Information Security Office (GISO) is responsible for overseeing the secure and innovative adoption of AI technologies within the organization. This role involves managing the entire lifecycle of AI tooling requests and conducting risk assessments to ensure compliance with security, privacy, and data handling standards. The position requires close collaboration with Legal, Privacy, and Engineering teams to transform governance from a restrictive process into an enabler of organizational agility.
Key responsibilities include managing the intake and risk assessment processes for new AI tools and use cases, proactively identifying and mitigating unapproved AI usage, and developing self-service documentation and training programs to enhance AI literacy across the organization. The role also involves maintaining an inventory of approved vendors and tracking key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement in the AI Governance program.
Candidates should possess a strong background in information security, risk management, or data governance within a SaaS environment, along with a functional understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs) and their associated security risks. Proficiency in applying security and privacy frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or SOC 2 to evaluate third-party AI vendors and internal data flows is essential. Exceptional communication skills are required to translate complex policy into clear guidance for diverse stakeholders, and strong program management skills are necessary to prioritize high-volume requests in a dynamic environment.
The annual base salary range for this position is $131,000 to $197,000 USD, with potential eligibility for incentive pay and/or equity. The role is based in Lehi, Utah, and candidates are expected to work from the office in compliance with Everpure's policies.
