The Senior Data Scientist / Data Scientist, AI & LLM (Client-facing) role at Similarweb is a pivotal position within the Data for AI team in China. This specialized, client-facing group collaborates directly with China's leading AI organizations to unlock the full potential of Similarweb's data for their models and AI assistants. The team focuses on translating extensive data assets into measurable impacts for real-world AI applications.

In this role, you will engage closely with customer AI, data, and business teams to articulate the value of Similarweb's datasets. Responsibilities include conducting technical workshops to understand model challenges, developing data-driven solutions that demonstrate tangible business impact, and supporting the deal process by ensuring technical alignment. Post-deal, you will lead implementation efforts, guide integration and validation processes, and assist customers in effectively applying Similarweb's data within their model development workflows.

The ideal candidate holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, with a minimum of three years' experience in statistical and machine learning tools such as Python or R. Proficiency in both Chinese and English is essential for leading customer discussions. Experience with machine learning algorithms, including NLP and LLMs, familiarity with SQL, and expertise in Big Data tools and cloud infrastructure like PySpark and AWS are also required.
