Senior Counsel, Regulatory
Headway is seeking a Senior Counsel, Regulatory to join its dynamic legal team. This role involves providing strategic legal guidance on regulatory matters, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, and supporting the company's mission to improve mental healthcare access. The Senior Counsel will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to navigate the complex regulatory landscape in the healthcare industry.
Key responsibilities include advising on regulatory compliance, developing and implementing policies and procedures, and managing relationships with regulatory agencies. The Senior Counsel will also oversee the company's response to regulatory inquiries and audits, ensuring that all operations align with legal and ethical standards. Additionally, this role involves staying abreast of changes in healthcare regulations and proactively addressing potential impacts on the organization.
The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and have a minimum of 7 years of experience in regulatory law, preferably within the healthcare sector. Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment are essential. Experience interacting with regulatory agencies and managing compliance programs is highly desirable.
