Senior Attorney/Counsel - Environmental and Regulatory

EQT Corporation is seeking a Senior Attorney/Counsel specializing in Environmental and Regulatory matters to join its legal team. This role involves providing legal support on a wide range of environmental issues, including permitting, compliance, and enforcement, to ensure the company's operations align with applicable laws and regulations. The position is based in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania, with remote work options available for candidates residing in specific states.

Key responsibilities include participating in permitting and development discussions, offering legal guidance on environmental enforcement and permitting strategies, assisting with permit filings and modifications, responding to agency inquiries and enforcement actions, and collaborating with internal teams and external counsel. The role also involves staying current on relevant oil and gas laws and handling special projects as they arise.

Candidates must possess a Juris Doctorate degree and have at least 3 years of legal experience, particularly in environmental and regulatory law. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, strong analytical abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively are essential. While not mandatory, experience in the energy, infrastructure, or industrial sectors is preferred. Additionally, candidates residing in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, or Ohio are favored.
