Attorney/Sr. Attorney, Corporate & Securities
EQT Corporation is seeking a dedicated Attorney/Senior Attorney to join its Corporate & Securities legal team. This role involves providing comprehensive legal support on corporate governance, securities compliance, and transactional matters within a dynamic public company environment. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with senior legal team members to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and facilitate the company's strategic initiatives.
Key responsibilities include assisting with securities law compliance, such as preparing and reviewing Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K, and managing Section 16 filings (Forms 3 and 4). The role also encompasses ensuring compliance with public company reporting obligations, overseeing subsidiary management, supporting the Corporate Secretary function, and contributing to transactional activities, including capital markets and M&A transactions. Additionally, the attorney will support know-your-customer compliance processes and treasury matters.
Candidates must possess a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and be admitted to at least one U.S. state bar. A minimum of two years of corporate transactional or securities law experience with a large law firm is required. Exceptional interpersonal skills, outstanding academic credentials, and a demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities effectively are essential. A high degree of initiative and attention to detail is also expected.
