The Senior Analyst, Sales Compensation at EDB plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the company's global incentive compensation processes. Reporting to the USA-based Senior Manager of Sales Compensation, this position is integral to the Finance team, contributing to EDB's mission of empowering enterprises with data and AI solutions built on Postgres.
Key responsibilities include administering complex global sales compensation plans, managing the Salesforce SPIFF compensation platform, and serving as the primary point of contact for compensation inquiries and dispute resolution. The role also involves conducting analyses of sales performance and compensation data to identify trends and forecast incentive payouts.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, along with over five years of experience in sales compensation administration or a related Sales Operations function. Proficiency in Salesforce SPIFF or similar incentive compensation platforms, advanced Excel skills, and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities are essential.
