The Product Marketing Manager - AI at EDB is a pivotal role within the marketing team, focusing on driving the adoption and positioning of EDB's Postgres AI capabilities. EDB provides a data and AI platform that enables organizations to harness the full power of Postgres for transactional, analytical, and AI workloads across any cloud, anywhere. This position offers the opportunity to shape the narrative and go-to-market strategies for cutting-edge AI products in a dynamic and growing company.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing targeted programs and messaging to drive measurable adoption of EDB Postgres AI capabilities. The role involves owning the narrative that positions EDB Postgres AI as the default choice for enterprises building agentic applications, as well as leading the end-to-end strategy for AI product launches, including messaging frameworks and cross-functional execution. Additionally, the Product Marketing Manager will serve as the internal and external expert on AI personas, their journeys, and the business requirements for modern AI workloads, and empower global field teams with consistent, competitive messaging and playbooks to effectively engage technical buyers and architects.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in product marketing, technical marketing, or a related role within an enterprise technology organization. They should demonstrate success in translating complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences and possess a proven ability to use data and metrics to measure program effectiveness and drive continuous improvement. Strong cross-functional collaboration skills across product, sales, and marketing teams, along with excellent written communication and presentation abilities, are essential.
Preferred qualifications include proven expertise in the AI, analytics, or data infrastructure sectors, experience developing competitive positioning against AI-native databases, vector stores, or hyperscaler data offerings, and knowledge of PostgreSQL and the open-source data ecosystem. Success in launching products in emerging, competitive markets to reach targeted developer and architect personas will also be advantageous.
