Senior Analyst, Payroll - Temporary
EDB is seeking a Senior Analyst, Payroll for a temporary role from April 2026 to September 2027, with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent position. This position is integral to our global payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate payroll processing for employees worldwide. The role offers an opportunity to contribute to process improvements, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our payroll cycle.
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for managing end-to-end international payroll processing on a monthly and semi-monthly basis across regions including the US, Canada, APAC, APJ, and EMEA. This includes collaborating with international payroll providers to ensure accuracy and compliance. The role also involves serving as the primary point of contact for employees regarding payroll-related queries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. Additional duties encompass supporting payroll accounting close activities, preparing accruals and account reconciliations, posting payroll journal entries to the general ledger, and assisting with year-end activities such as tax form distribution.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in accounting, business, HR, or a related discipline, with a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred. A minimum of 5 years of progressive, hands-on experience in a global payroll function is required. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to build models using VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and advanced formulas, is essential. Experience with payroll and accounting software such as Workday, ADP, and NetSuite is strongly preferred. The role demands excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively partner with cross-functional and international teams across various time zones, as well as the ability to manage tasks independently in a remote-first work environment.
