Senior Analyst, Payroll
EDB is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Global Payroll team. This role is integral to supporting our expanding global workforce by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries. The successful candidate will contribute to enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our payroll operations.
The Senior Analyst will be responsible for end-to-end global payroll processing, collaborating closely with international payroll providers to maintain compliance and accuracy. Key duties include serving as the primary contact for employee payroll inquiries, ensuring adherence to federal, state, local, and international regulations, and supporting payroll accounting activities such as accruals, reconciliations, and journal entries. Additionally, the role involves assisting with year-end activities, managing retirement and benefit contributions, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the payroll function.
Candidates should possess 5-8 years of progressive, hands-on experience in a global payroll function, with deep expertise in ADP India payroll processing and a strong understanding of local statutory compliance, including PF, PT, ESI, and Income Tax. A bachelor's degree in accounting, business, human resources, or a related discipline is required, with a Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with payroll and accounting software systems such as Workday and NetSuite are strongly preferred. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and international teams are essential.
