Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting

Alo Yoga is seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Accountant, Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting to join our finance and accounting team. This hands-on role is responsible for global consolidation, technical accounting, and external reporting. Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting and Technical Accounting, the Senior Accountant will be a key member of the organization, contributing to the company's mission of promoting mindful movement and better living.

The Senior Accountant will prepare monthly consolidated financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. They will manage multi-entity consolidations involving various foreign currencies and ensure intercompany transactions are appropriately balanced. The role also involves evaluating existing processes to identify opportunities for control risk mitigation and efficiency improvements in the monthly close process. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will develop strong cross-functional relationships to proactively address business changes and participate in special projects such as due diligence, purchase accounting, finance transformation, and M&A activities.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or higher in accounting and have at least 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in public accounting. A CPA designation is preferred. The role requires the ability to research and interpret technical accounting guidance using ASC codification and/or Big 4 publications. Experience with consolidations involving entities denominated in foreign currencies and proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including vlookups, sumifs, pivot tables) are essential. Industry experience in retail and/or consumer products, as well as international experience, is a plus. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach to problem identification and solution implementation, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and superior attention to detail.

The base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $130,000 per year, representing the current range for this exempt position. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including location, experience, and performance.
