Senior Accountant

ALO is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our dynamic team in Commerce, California. As a leader in mindful movement apparel, ALO is dedicated to bringing yoga-inspired products to the world. This role is integral to our finance department, focusing on financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and month-end close procedures.

The Senior Accountant will execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring adherence to established timelines. Responsibilities include preparing and posting journal entries, performing detailed balance sheet reconciliations, and analyzing financial results to support management reporting. The role also involves ensuring compliance with US GAAP, particularly lease accounting under ASC 842, and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, with 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience. Public accounting experience, especially with Big 4 or national firms, is preferred. A strong knowledge of US GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting processes is essential. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

The base salary range for this position is $100,000–$110,000 per year, with actual salaries varying based on factors such as location, experience, and performance. Additional rewards may include performance bonuses, long-term incentives, a PTO policy, and other progressive benefits.
