Senior Account Executive, Enterprise
Xometry is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by prospecting, qualifying, and generating new business with existing enterprise customers. You will work closely with engineering staff, program management, procurement, and executive management to understand their needs from prototype parts to full-scale production. This position offers an opportunity to contribute significantly to Xometry's mission of connecting innovative ideas with manufacturing capabilities.
As a Senior Account Executive, your primary responsibilities will include selling technical products and services to Fortune 500 and Aerospace and Defense customers. You will initiate and build relationships with key stakeholders, set up sales calls for company executives and engineers, and qualify potential leads. Collaborating with technical staff and internal colleagues, you will ensure customer needs are met and data is accurately managed within the company's CRM system. Additionally, you will propose winning solutions, negotiate contract terms, and participate in ongoing training and mentoring programs.
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of sales experience in a quota-carrying and closing role, with a minimum of 2 years selling technical products or services in the manufacturing space. Experience selling into Fortune 500 companies for at least 3 years is required. A demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing or engineering is highly preferred. Candidates should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, strong negotiation abilities, and be results-driven. Proficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM systems like Salesforce is essential. A bachelor's degree is required.
The estimated base salary range for this role is $125,000 to $150,000 annually, plus commission, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
