Senior 2D Game Artist

Wildlife Studios is seeking a Senior 2D Game Artist to join our dynamic Art Team in São Paulo. As a leading mobile game developer with a global audience, we are dedicated to creating unforgettable characters and vibrant worlds that engage millions of players. This role offers the opportunity to collaborate with a versatile and passionate team, working alongside designers, engineers, and product managers to develop iconic mobile games.

In this position, you will be responsible for leading the artistic vision within small, multidisciplinary teams. Your primary focus will be on 2D art, but you will also have opportunities to contribute to other areas such as UI design, 3D modeling, and animation, depending on project needs. Key responsibilities include transforming game design documents into playable mobile games, defining development pipelines, and iterating rapidly to enhance gameplay and player experience. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in building and evolving workflows, particularly in integrating Generative AI tools to ensure output quality and consistency.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong portfolio showcasing illustration, concept art, and visual storytelling. Experience in creating artwork for games, animation, comics, or entertainment IPs is essential. Proficiency with Photoshop or equivalent painting tools is required, along with demonstrated use of Generative AI tools in the creative process. High to intermediate communication skills in English are necessary to effectively collaborate with diverse team members and stakeholders.
