Security Analyst, Compliance
Pure Storage is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Analyst, Compliance to join their Information Security team in Lehi, Utah. This role is integral to ensuring the security of Pure Storage's corporate environment and services, aligning with the company's commitment to innovation and excellence in data storage solutions.
The Security Analyst, Compliance will independently manage compliance certification programs such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, and Common Criteria. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams—including Engineering, Legal, and Product—to ensure smooth project execution, assisting internal teams through assessments and audits, developing and reporting on compliance metrics, and maintaining comprehensive compliance documentation. The role also involves driving recurring tasks like access reviews and vulnerability scanning across various business units.
Candidates should have over five years of experience in IT audit, risk management, or IT compliance roles, with a proven track record in managing compliance certification programs. A deep understanding of security controls and key compliance frameworks such as NIST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, FedRAMP, FIPS, and Common Criteria is essential. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and GCP is also required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively engage with internal teams and external auditors. A background in Security Operations or Engineering is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISA, or CISM, and ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer or Lead Auditor are advantageous.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $110,000 to $165,000 USD, with potential eligibility for incentive pay and/or equity.
