The Sales & Service Manager at ALO is a pivotal member of the store leadership team, responsible for implementing the company's business and guest experience strategies. This role focuses on achieving business targets, enhancing sales performance, and fostering a team environment that aligns with ALO's guiding principles. The primary objective is to ensure an exceptional in-store experience for all guests.
Key responsibilities include investigating and addressing sales opportunities, collaborating with the General Manager to resolve process or system issues, and overseeing the Sales & Service team to deliver outstanding guest experiences. The manager is also tasked with building and maintaining client relationships, ensuring effective sales floor coverage, and developing workforce solutions to meet business needs. Additionally, they partner with the General Manager to devise and execute the store's Sales & Service strategy.
The ideal candidate will have prior leadership experience in retail or a related industry, proficiency in MS Office applications, and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. They should be adaptable, capable of managing multiple tasks in a dynamic environment, and motivated to drive business in a fast-paced, innovative setting. A business owner mindset with an entrepreneurial spirit, along with strong time management skills and personal accountability, are essential. Alignment with and embodiment of ALO's guiding principles is also required.
This full-time position entails a 40-hour workweek, with 75% of the time dedicated to managing the retail floor and coaching the team. To support the business and team needs, full-time employees are expected to be available for opening, closing, and weekend shifts.
