Sales Operations Analyst
Canonical is seeking a Sales Operations Analyst to join its globally distributed team. This role focuses on enhancing sales productivity and effectiveness across direct, alliance, channel partner, and online sales channels. Canonical, the publisher of Ubuntu, is a leader in open-source software, providing solutions for public cloud, data science, AI, engineering innovation, and IoT. The company operates with over 1,200 colleagues in more than 75 countries, emphasizing remote collaboration and periodic in-person team meetings.
The Sales Operations Analyst will be responsible for delivering precise and scalable revenue operations through various sales channels. Key duties include leading a team of revenue operations analysts, developing policies, driving processes, and providing daily operational support to sales teams and partners. The role also involves managing sales engagement, training, data enrichment, customer relationship management, configure price quote processes, analytics, and commissions. Additionally, the analyst will oversee sales technology and processes, drive automation and process improvements, and collaborate with the commercial systems engineering team to enhance business systems and integration.
Candidates should have experience in a leadership revenue operations role, focusing on the effectiveness of direct, channel, and alliance partnerships. A data-driven and analytical approach with high attention to detail is essential. Proficiency in CRM and other revenue operations technology platforms, data analytics, and compensation systems is required. The role demands an energetic, systematic approach to problem-solving, with skills in measuring, identifying, and delivering systems and processes that ensure repeatable, scalable outcomes. Strong organizational skills and the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels are also necessary.
