The Sales Manager, Supplier Sales - New Business at Xometry leads a team of Business Development Executives focused on acquiring new clients. This role combines strategic leadership, data-driven performance management, and hands-on coaching to ensure the team meets and exceeds revenue goals. The position is based in Lexington, KY, with a requirement to work onsite three days a week.
Key responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing team of Business Development Executives. The Sales Manager will set and manage sales quotas, conduct regular coaching sessions to review pipeline health and deal strategies, and identify performance gaps, implementing coaching plans and training as needed. Additionally, the role involves partnering with Sales Operations, Marketing, and Campaign Management to streamline processes and enhance conversion rates.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, along with over six years of B2B sales experience, including at least two years in a leadership role. Proven success in outbound sales and full-cycle new business acquisition is essential. Experience selling digital marketing, advertising, or SaaS solutions is preferred. Strong business acumen, an analytical mindset, and proficiency in CRM systems, particularly Salesforce, are required. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to coach, motivate, and develop sales talent in a fast-paced environment and be a clear, confident communicator who thrives in a goal-driven culture.
The estimated base salary range for this role is $72,000 to $115,000 annually, plus commission, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
