As a Sales Manager for Small and Medium Businesses (SMB) in the Greater China region at Similarweb, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company's market presence by developing and nurturing relationships with SMB clients. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to negotiating and closing deals. Your day-to-day activities will include meeting quarterly sales quotas by generating revenue from both inbound and outbound SMB prospects, engaging with director and C-level executives, and collaborating with internal teams such as Marketing, Sales Development, Solution Engineering, and Implementation to drive the sales process forward. Additionally, you will maintain accurate forecasts and manage sales activities using tools like Salesforce, SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, and Chorus.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a quota-carrying new business commercial role, with at least 2 years of consistency in previous positions. Experience in Greater China inside or SMB sales is required. Native proficiency in Mandarin is essential, and professional fluency in Cantonese is considered a benefit. A background in SaaS, data, market research, or analytics sales is preferred. A proven track record of achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment, the ability to self-source meetings in a startup setting, and strong presentation skills in both Chinese and English are also important.
