Sales Manager, Marketplace Sales (Enterprise)
The Sales Manager, Marketplace Sales (Enterprise) at Xometry will lead and organize the enterprise accounts team, focusing on developing business plans, achieving sales goals, and coordinating with the marketing department for lead generation. This role involves overseeing the performance of the sales team, setting individual targets, and facilitating ongoing training and development.
Key responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, and developing a high-performing Account Executive team focused on inbound growth of existing accounts. The Sales Manager will work closely with sales and operations teams to assist representatives in winning deals, monitor employee productivity, and implement best practices in sales pipeline management. Additionally, the role requires ensuring accurate information is captured in CRM-Salesforce, supervising the team in accordance with company policies, and reporting to senior management on sales metrics and opportunities.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent experience, with at least 6 years of sales experience, including 2 years in a management or team lead role. A proven track record in inside sales and new business development, experience in planning and implementing aggressive outbound sales strategies, and knowledge of technical sales and manufacturing are advantageous. Strong customer service skills and the ability to train and lead a sales team are essential.
The estimated base salary range for this role is $72,000 to $115,000 annually, plus commission, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location.
