Key responsibilities include managing daily operations of the inside sales team, ensuring consistent coverage, and partnering with account managers to navigate complex homeowner scenarios. The Sales Manager will set and manage monthly sales targets aligned with company goals, evaluate performance through reporting and call reviews, and coach team members to improve conversion rates and revenue attainment. Additionally, the role involves developing and implementing monthly sales training plans, hiring and onboarding new account managers, and leading call center sales initiatives to optimize processes and enhance the customer experience.
The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in sales management, with a strong focus on performance management for telephonic sales teams. A bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience is required. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to analyze performance data, identify trends, and drive operational improvements. Experience in real estate, mortgage, or HELOC industries is strongly preferred, along with prior experience managing remote teams and a data-driven approach to tracking and improving performance. Strong decision-making skills, excellent prioritization and organizational abilities, and effective conflict resolution skills are essential. The role requires obtaining and maintaining a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) license within 60 days of the start date.
