Sales Intern
Xometry is seeking a Sales Intern to join our dynamic team in North Bethesda, MD. As a leading digital marketplace in the manufacturing industry, Xometry connects innovative thinkers with manufacturers to bring ideas to life. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
In this role, you will actively follow up on inbound leads, identify qualified opportunities, and provide timely and relevant information to potential customers. You will build and nurture a pipeline of potential clients through targeted outreach, including cold calling and email campaigns. Conducting in-depth research to identify key decision-makers and understand their business needs will be essential. Additionally, you will collaborate with the sales team to move deals through the sales pipeline, from initial contact to closing. As part of the internship, you will work alongside fellow interns to analyze a real-world business challenge and present innovative solutions to senior leadership.
The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in an accredited college or university, graduating in December 2026 or May 2027, with a minimum 3.5 GPA. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a passion for problem-solving and a desire to drive results. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to commute to our North Bethesda, MD office to work onsite for at least 3 days a week. The estimated base pay rate for this temporary position is $20.00 per hour, depending on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, and location. The internship period is from June 8 to August 14, 2026, with a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week.
