Sales Engineer

Gong is seeking a Sales Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dublin. As a pivotal member of our Sales Engineering team, you will collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Success to provide expert technical guidance and support to our Enterprise prospects and customers. This hybrid role requires in-office presence three days a week, fostering a collaborative environment while offering flexibility.

In this role, you will serve as the ultimate product expert and technical advisor, thoroughly understanding all aspects of the Gong platform to effectively demonstrate and explain its capabilities to diverse users. Your responsibilities will include assisting with business assessments such as proofs of concept and pilots, crafting solution-based demonstrations, and developing solution architecture diagrams for complex use cases. Additionally, you will collaborate cross-functionally to eliminate bottlenecks and contribute to marketing initiatives like webinars and events.

The ideal candidate will have over five years of customer-facing experience in sales engineering or related roles, with a strong passion for customer service. Experience with sales technologies such as CRMs, cloud architecture, or telephony/web conferencing systems is essential. A solid understanding of data flows, AI/ML concepts, analytics, APIs/webhooks, and security and privacy considerations in SaaS systems is also required. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, are crucial for success in this position.
