Tenable, Inc. is seeking a Sales Development Representative to join their team in Columbia, Maryland. This role is integral to the company's mission of providing exposure management solutions to organizations worldwide. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to understanding and reducing cyber risk for clients across various industries.

In this position, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through both inbound and outbound calls. Your daily tasks will include making over 50 calls to potential clients, following up on inbound sales inquiries, and scheduling meetings and demonstrations for Territory Managers. Additionally, you will promote Tenable's events and webinars, research target accounts for outbound campaigns, and manage and update the company's contact and account databases. A key performance expectation is to generate a minimum of seven new meetings or demos per week.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in sales or a similar client support role. Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential. Outstanding oral and written communication skills are required, along with a keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Proficiency in using or other Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools is preferred, and a bachelor's degree is advantageous.

Compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $19.47 to $25.88 per hour, with additional variable compensation based on individual and company performance.
