As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) for Southeast Asia at Remote, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our presence in the region. Remote is a globally distributed company dedicated to simplifying global employment by enabling businesses to hire, pay, and manage international teams compliantly. You will be part of our dynamic Sales team, working remotely to connect with potential clients and introduce them to our comprehensive HR platform.

In this role, your primary responsibilities will include responding to and qualifying outbound leads and inquiries, sourcing new sales prospects through various channels, and scheduling appointments for Account Executives. You will clearly communicate Remote's value propositions to prospects, understand their needs to assess fit, and support the Account Executive team as needed. Additionally, you will create target prospect lists, penetrate key accounts, and conduct research to identify key players and business requirements.

The ideal candidate will have proven success in business development, particularly within a B2B SaaS tech company, and proficiency with core sales tools such as HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Chorus. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with excellent listening abilities and a positive, energetic phone presence, are essential. Strategic and tactical thinking, self-motivation, and a diligent work ethic are also crucial. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Korean, Japanese, or Bahasa is a plus but not mandatory.

Remote offers a competitive compensation package, with on-target earnings ranging from $90,900 SGD to $102,250 SGD, where the base salary constitutes 70% of the total.
