Sales Development Representative - Southeast Asia (Korean, Japanese, or Bahasa speaking)
As a Sales Development Representative at Remote, you will be an integral part of our Sales team, focusing on engaging prospective customers and showcasing our Global HR Platform. Remote is dedicated to simplifying global employment by enabling businesses to recruit, pay, and manage international teams seamlessly. Our team operates asynchronously across six continents, fostering a culture of innovation and inclusivity.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include responding to and qualifying outbound leads and inquiries, sourcing new sales prospects, and scheduling appointments for Account Executives. You will clearly communicate Remote's value propositions to potential clients, understand their needs to determine a good fit, and support the Account Executive team as needed. Additionally, you will be responsible for educating and developing prospects, creating target prospect lists, penetrating key accounts, and conducting research to initiate the sales cycle.
The ideal candidate will have proven success in business development, particularly in a B2B SaaS tech company, and proficiency with core sales tools such as Hubspot and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Exceptional oral and written communication skills, coupled with excellent listening abilities and a positive, energetic phone presence, are essential. Strategic and tactical thinking, self-motivation, and a diligent work ethic are also key attributes. Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in Korean, Japanese, or Bahasa is a plus but not mandatory.
