Sales Development Representative
As a Sales Development Representative at Similarweb, you will play a pivotal role in building a robust sales pipeline by effectively identifying and engaging potential clients. This position is based in Tokyo and involves proactive outbound prospecting to connect with our ideal target audience. Similarweb is a leading digital intelligence platform that empowers thousands of customers globally, including industry giants like Google, eBay, and Adidas, to make data-driven decisions that drive their digital strategies.
In this role, your primary responsibilities will include conducting outbound calls, emails, and social media outreach to connect with new prospects. You will utilize prospecting and research tools to qualify accounts and create meeting opportunities with key decision-makers. Collaborating with team members, you will strategize to innovate and improve the overall sales development process. Staying up to date with industry trends and market conditions will be essential to effectively support the industries you engage with.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of sales experience, with fresh graduates possessing relevant experience also encouraged to apply. Native-level proficiency in Japanese is a must, along with proficiency in English. A strong work ethic and the ability to develop and maintain relationships are crucial. Previous customer-facing or marketing experience, as well as experience with Salesforce, would be advantageous.
