Sales Development Representative
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Similarweb plays a pivotal role in expanding the company's client base by identifying and engaging potential customers. As part of the Demand Generation team, the SDR focuses on nurturing relationships with inbound prospects from Similarweb's free product offerings, transforming them into qualified leads for the sales pipeline. This position is based in Burlington, Massachusetts, and reports directly to the Team Manager of Market Intelligence Representatives (MIR).
Key responsibilities include handling inbound calls, chats, and contact forms to assess and qualify prospects who could benefit from Similarweb's digital intelligence solutions. The SDR is tasked with uncovering and sharing relevant insights and data that demonstrate the value of Similarweb's products to a prospect's digital strategy. Additionally, the role involves scheduling meetings between qualified prospects and sales managers, as well as collaborating with the marketing department to develop and execute campaigns that highlight the benefits of Similarweb's insights to the registered user base.
Ideal candidates possess a dynamic and creative mindset, with excellent verbal and written communication skills. A strong work ethic, goal-oriented attitude, and resilience in handling objections are essential. Adaptability, collaboration, and emotional intelligence are also key traits for success in this role. While previous customer-facing or marketing experience is advantageous, it is not a strict requirement.
The base salary for this position in the Burlington, Massachusetts area is $56,000, complemented by benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401K plan, potential equity, an employee stock purchase plan, and paid sick and parental leave. The role is also eligible for the company's sales incentive plan, with a maximum target on-target earnings (OTE) of up to $70,000, contingent upon the achievement of established targets.
