As the Sales Development Director for Germany at Wellhub, you will lead a high-performing team of Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and mentor a BDR Team Lead. This role bridges high-level regional strategy and daily operational excellence, focusing on defining the German outbound playbook, optimizing the tech stack for the local market, and scaling the leadership bench to ensure the team consistently exceeds pipeline and revenue targets.

Key responsibilities include leading and executing the DACH go-to-market strategy, coaching and developing a Junior BDR Team Lead, partnering with Marketing and Account Executives to ensure strong lead flow and handoffs, and providing clear pipeline forecasts with risks and opportunities. Additionally, you will maximize conversion through effective lead qualification, drive personalized prospecting, optimize the use of tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and improve outreach strategies to build the pipeline.

The ideal candidate has over 5 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or director role. A passion for mentoring and developing talent is essential, along with the ability to analyze conversion funnels and identify areas for improvement. Experience managing SDR/BDR teams for challenger brands, coaching reps to pivot from product interest to business impact, and familiarity with the HR space are also important. Comfort navigating the nuances of German business culture and time zones is required.
