Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Yorkdale
The Sales Associate at ALO's Yorkdale location is responsible for achieving store sales goals by delivering an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the brand's mission of mindful movement. This role involves creating authentic connections with guests, providing comprehensive product education, and promoting the company's community and culture. The Sales Associate is expected to be well-versed in all aspects of product knowledge, including features, benefits, fabric, usage, design, and care. Success in this position requires a collaborative team spirit and a commitment to excellence.
Key responsibilities include positively impacting the business and store environment in alignment with company goals, driving and exceeding sales targets through ALO's Flow initiatives, and ensuring a friendly and accessible shopping experience for customers. The Sales Associate will build and maintain client relationships, analyze reports to strategize and deliver results, and support effective sales floor coverage by developing workforce solutions and leading selling initiatives. Additionally, the role involves educating guests and staff on products, community, and culture, as well as assisting in processing shipments and ensuring product flow, including visual merchandising and daily replenishment.
Preferred qualifications for this role include at least one year of prior experience in a client-centric sales environment, a passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences, and alignment with ALO's guiding principles. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, results-driven, and excels both individually and as part of a team. Physical requirements include the ability to move around all areas of the store, lift up to 50 pounds, and stand for entire shifts.
Compensation for this position ranges from $20.00 to $22.00 CAD per hour, with eligibility for the company's Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, which may increase total compensation.
