Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Southpark Mall
The Sales Associate at Alo Yoga's Southpark Mall location in Charlotte, NC, plays a pivotal role in delivering the brand's mission of mindful movement and community engagement. This part-time position focuses on creating an authentic and exceptional experience for every guest through genuine connections and product education. The Sales Associate is integral to the store team, contributing to the overall success and growth of the company.
Key responsibilities include driving and exceeding sales goals by leading Alo's Flow initiatives, optimizing productivity and efficiency, and ensuring a friendly and easy-to-shop environment. The Sales Associate is expected to build and maintain client relationships, analyze reports to strategize and deliver results, and support achieving action plans focusing on growth opportunities. Additional duties involve effective sales floor coverage, introducing all facets of the Alo business model, and assisting in processing shipments and ensuring product flow.
The ideal candidate should have a passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences, align with and embody Alo's Guiding Principles, and be self-motivated with a desire to achieve results both individually and as part of a team. Preferred qualifications include at least one year of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment. Physical requirements involve constant movement in and around the store, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to stand and move for an entire shift.
Compensation for this role ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour. Part-time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, with a shift minimum of 4 hours. All employees are expected to be available during the company's Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season.
