Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Southgate Centre

The Sales Associate at ALO's Southgate Centre location is responsible for achieving store sales goals by delivering an exceptional customer experience aligned with the brand's mission. This role involves creating authentic connections with guests, providing comprehensive product education, and promoting the company's community and culture. The Sales Associate is expected to be well-versed in all aspects of product knowledge, including features, benefits, fabric, usage, design, and care. Success in this position requires a collaborative team spirit and a commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities include positively impacting the business and store environment in alignment with company goals, driving and exceeding sales targets through ALO's initiatives, and ensuring a welcoming and easy-to-shop environment for customers. The Sales Associate will build and maintain client relationships, analyze reports to strategize and deliver results, and ensure effective sales floor coverage. Additional duties involve educating guests and staff about products, community, and culture, processing shipments, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and supporting other areas of the business as needed.

Preferred qualifications for this role include at least one year of prior experience in a client-centric sales environment, a passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences, and a high-energy, upbeat, and enthusiastic demeanor. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, desires to achieve results and excel both individually and as part of a team, and fosters genuine connections through empathy, compassion, integrity, and building trusting relationships.

Part-time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, based on the needs of the business, with a minimum shift of 4 hours. All employees are expected to be available during the company's Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season.
