Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Shops at La Cantera

The Sales Associate at ALO's Shops at La Cantera location is responsible for achieving store sales goals by delivering an exceptional customer experience that aligns with the brand's mission. This role involves creating genuine connections with customers, providing product education, and promoting the company's community and culture. The Sales Associate is expected to be knowledgeable about all aspects of ALO's products, including features, benefits, fabrics, usage, design, and care. Success in this position requires a team-oriented mindset and a commitment to excellence.

Key responsibilities include positively impacting the business and store environment in alignment with company goals, driving and exceeding sales targets through ALO's Flow initiatives, and ensuring a friendly and easy-to-shop environment for customers. The Sales Associate will build and maintain client relationships, analyze reports to strategize and deliver results, and support action plans focusing on areas needing improvement while highlighting growth opportunities. Additional duties involve effective sales floor coverage, educating customers about the ALO business model, leveraging company tools and incentives to meet store goals, resolving client needs promptly, and assisting with shipment processing and visual merchandising.

Preferred qualifications for this role include at least one year of prior experience in a client-centric sales environment, a passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences, and alignment with ALO's guiding principles. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, desires to achieve results both individually and as part of a team, and can handle the physical demands of the job, such as constant movement around the store, lifting up to 50 pounds, and standing for entire shifts.

Part-time, non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, with a minimum shift of 4 hours, based on business needs. All employees must be available to work during the company's blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season in early January.
