Sales Associate (Part-Time) - Hudson's Detroit
The Sales Associate at ALO's Hudson's Detroit location plays a pivotal role in achieving store sales goals by delivering an exceptional customer experience. This position involves creating authentic connections with guests, educating them about ALO's products, and embodying the brand's mission of mindful movement. The Sales Associate is integral to fostering a welcoming environment that reflects ALO's commitment to community and culture.
Key responsibilities include engaging with customers to provide a friendly and easy-to-shop environment, driving and exceeding sales goals through ALO's Flow initiatives, and maintaining strong visual standards on the sales floor. The role also involves processing shipments, ensuring product flow, and executing front and back-of-house procedures in line with company policies. Additionally, the Sales Associate is expected to resolve client needs promptly, educate guests and staff about ALO's products and culture, and support the store leadership in analyzing reports to strategize and deliver results.
Preferred qualifications for this role include at least one year of prior experience in a client-centric, sales environment, a passion for customer service, and alignment with ALO's guiding principles. The position requires constant movement within the store, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the capacity to stand and move for an entire shift. Self-motivation and a desire to achieve results both individually and as part of a team are essential.
Part-time non-exempt associates are expected to work up to 30 hours per week, with a minimum shift of four hours, based on the needs of the business. All employees are required to work during the company's Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the first week of January.
