Sales Associate (Full-Time) - Dumbo
The Sales Associate at ALO's Dumbo location is responsible for achieving store sales goals by delivering an exceptional guest experience that embodies the brand's mission. This role involves creating authentic connections with customers, providing comprehensive product education, and promoting the company's community and culture. The Sales Associate is expected to be well-versed in all aspects of product knowledge, including features, benefits, fabric, usage, design, and care, and thrives in a team-oriented environment that values feedback and excellence.
Key responsibilities include positively impacting the business and store environment in alignment with store leadership and company goals. The Sales Associate is tasked with driving and exceeding sales goals by leading ALO's Flow initiatives, optimizing productivity and efficiency, and ensuring customer engagement to provide a friendly and easy-to-shop environment. Additional duties involve building and maintaining client relationships, analyzing reports to strategize and deliver results, ensuring effective sales floor coverage, and educating guests and staff on products, community, and culture. The role also requires assisting in processing shipments, ensuring product flow, and executing front and back of house procedures in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Preferred qualifications for this position include at least one year of prior work experience in a client-centric, sales environment, a passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences, and alignment with ALO's guiding principles. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel both individually and as part of a team. Physical requirements include constant movement in and around all areas of the store, the ability to lift, push, carry, or otherwise move up to 50 pounds, and the ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
Compensation for this role ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour in Brooklyn, NY. Associates are also eligible to participate in the company's Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, which may result in higher total compensation.
