Sales Associate (Full-Time) - Country Club Plaza
The Sales Associate at ALO's Country Club Plaza location in Kansas City, MO, plays a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional guest experience that embodies the brand's mission of mindful movement. This position involves creating genuine connections with customers, providing comprehensive product education, and fostering a welcoming environment that reflects ALO's commitment to community and culture.
Key responsibilities include driving and exceeding sales goals by leading ALO's Flow initiatives, ensuring effective sales floor coverage, and maintaining a friendly and easy-to-shop environment. The Sales Associate is expected to build and maintain client relationships, analyze reports to strategize and deliver results, and assist in processing shipments and visual merchandising. Additionally, the role requires educating guests and staff on ALO's products, community, and culture, as well as ensuring all front and back of house procedures are executed in accordance with company policies.
Preferred qualifications for this role include at least one year of prior experience in a client-centric, sales environment, a passion for customer service, and alignment with ALO's guiding principles. The candidate should be self-motivated, capable of constant movement around the store, and able to lift up to 50 pounds. The ability to stand and move for an entire shift is also required.
Full-time non-exempt associates are expected to have open availability, seven days a week, working between 32 to 40 hours. All employees are required to work during the company's Blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving through the end of the holiday season.
